Here’s What 10 New Outdoor Lifestyle Brands Are Bringing for Spring/Summer

In Shanghai, for example, the third floor of the Jing An Kerry Centre has been transformed into a dedicated outdoor lifestyle zone, hosting premium brands like Salomon, Arc’teryx, Kolon Sport, Vuori, Hoka, On, Icebreaker, Wilson, and HEAD. This shift is driving growth not only in traditional outdoor gear and apparel but also in entirely new business formats — marking the arrival of the new outdoor lifestyle era.

Global brands are jumping on this wave, unveiling fresh collections to meet the growing appetite. Here’s a look at what 10 brands have rolled out for the spring and summer seasons.

Rapha
The British cycling lifestyle pioneer Rapha, known for its top-tier riding gear, has been expanding into accessories in recent years — eyewear included. This season, the brand introduces three new performance-focused sunglasses lines: Reis, Letras, and Dalton. True to Rapha’s timeless aesthetics, all three are designed to perform on the bike and beyond.

Each style takes its name from an iconic cycling location, with anti-fog, scratch-resistant lenses, and hydrophobic coating for wet conditions. Reis, named after Coll Dels Reis, features a semi-frame design with a single wraparound lens for enhanced perception during rides and races. Letras, inspired by Colombia’s Alto de Letras, is an ultra-light frameless style with high-contrast Rapha lens technology, offering a broader field of vision. Dalton, paying homage to Alaska’s Dalton Highway, has a rounded silhouette and interchangeable lenses.

All three come in four lens tint options to match different light conditions, and each uses Rapha’s proprietary contrast-enhancing tech for crisp, clear vision. Available now.

Nike

From Air Force 1 classics to Pegasus runners and rugged ACG gear, Nike never runs short on performance icons. The newest addition? Zegama 2, an upgraded trail running shoe aimed at both trail enthusiasts and marathoners.

Built with Nike’s ZoomX foam for responsiveness and cushioning, the Zegama 2 is made to handle steep ridges, rocky terrain, and long climbs. It sports a sticky Vibram Megagrip outsole with multi-directional lugs for traction, plus a durable engineered mesh upper for stability. At just 11.2 ounces, it also features ankle protection to keep out debris, and reflective details for low-light safety. Available in five colorways at $180.

Haglöfs

The 110-year-old Swedish outerwear brand Haglöfs finally makes its trail running debut, expanding its minimalist L.I.M series into full trail gear. The collection focuses on lightweight, breathable, and durable pieces — from jackets to shorts — with true outdoor functionality and Scandi style.

The highlight is the L.I.M Intense Trail Low, a feather-light 230g trail shoe that may be Haglöfs’ best yet. The range is available now on the brand’s site.

New Balance × Issey Miyake

New Balance has teamed up with Issey Miyake for the first time, with designer Satoshi Kondo reimagining the MT10 trail shoe from the brand’s Minimus line. Originally built to mimic barefoot running, the MT10 gets Miyake’s minimalist color palette and breezy seasonal vibe.

It features a breathable mesh-and-leather upper, low-profile cushioning for ground feel, and a grippy Vibram outsole. Elastic laces add a playful touch. Launches May 15 in Japan, followed by global release on June 14.

Bose

Summer calls for portable music, and Bose answers with its largest-ever Bluetooth speaker: SoundLink Max. Offering up to 20 hours of playtime, three drivers, two passive radiators, Snapdragon Sound and AptX Adaptive support, and IP67 water/dust resistance, it’s built for parties anywhere.

An aux input, customizable button, and Bluetooth 5.3 round out the features. Available May 16 in two colors for $399.

YETI

The Texas-based outdoor icon YETI is stepping into coffee with its first-ever coffee maker: the Rambler French Press. Available in 34oz and 64oz stainless steel models, it uses the brand’s GroundsControl filter to prevent over-extraction and keep coffee at its best.

It doubles as a jug or serving vessel and uses kitchen-grade vacuum insulation. Priced $110–$130, available now.

Audi

Following its Dakar-inspired e-MTB launch with Fantic, Audi unveils another electric mountain bike based on Fantic’s XEF 1.9 Factory frame. Featuring Ohlins suspension, a 250W Brose motor, 720Wh battery, and four assist modes, it’s built for serious off-road performance. Deliveries begin this summer.

Volkswagen

The 2025 California Camper Van gets a full redesign, with a sleeker look, modern amenities, and a new plug-in hybrid option paired with VW’s 4MOTION AWD. Depending on spec, it comes with pop-up roof, sliding doors, movable seating, kitchenette, and extensive power outlets. Pre-orders start June 2024.

Stanley × fragment design

Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment design has given Stanley’s rugged drinkware a stylish update. The collab includes the Adventure To-Go Bottle, Classic Vacuum Bottle, Classic Flask, and Classic Vacuum Growler, all in Stanley’s signature Hammertone Green with fragment’s lightning logo. Release via online lottery.

Salomon

Known for sleek trail runners, Salomon has been reimagining its lineup with bolder, fashion-ready takes like the new X-Alp Suede. Combining premium suede with earth-tone palettes, it’s both nostalgic and contemporary — and arguably one of the best-looking trail shoes this year. Priced at $190.
